Quick Answer: Can You Refill a Foger Vape?
It depends on the model. The Foger Switch Pro uses a two-piece design with a reusable battery base and replaceable pre-filled pods — you swap the pod, you don’t manually pour e-liquid into a sealed disposable. The Foger Bit 35K and most other Foger devices are sealed disposables that are not designed to be refilled; attempting to do so risks leaks, coil burnout, and battery damage. Pre-filled Switch Pro replacement pods typically sell for $12–$18 each at authorized US retailers, while full disposable units run $18–$26. Below, we break down exactly how to swap a Switch Pro pod, what the specs look like model-by-model, and where to buy authentic stock.

1. What is a Foger Vape? (Refillable vs. Disposable)
Foger is a US-distributed vape brand that builds high-capacity nicotine devices with mesh-coil pods. The brand splits its lineup into two distinct categories, and confusing them is the most common reason readers land on “Foger vape refill” searches in the first place:
- Switch Pro (pod system, “refillable” in the practical sense): A reusable rechargeable battery base with detachable, pre-filled replacement pods. You don’t pour e-liquid into the pod yourself — you snap on a new one when the old one runs dry.
- Bit 35K and most other Foger SKUs (sealed disposables): One-piece units with the battery, coil, and e-liquid permanently fused. When the juice or battery runs out, the device is meant to be retired. These are not user-refillable.
In our bench testing, the Switch Pro’s pod swap is the closest thing to a true “refill” experience in the Foger ecosystem. If you bought a Bit 35K expecting to top it up, the short answer is: don’t. Skip ahead to section 3 if you own a Switch Pro and want the step-by-step.

3. How to Refill a Foger Switch Pro Pod
Foger sells the Switch Pro pods pre-filled — the intended workflow is a clean snap-on swap, not a manual juice refill. That said, experienced users who want to stretch a pod with their own salt nic e-liquid can do so once or twice before the coil starts to degrade. Here’s the bench-tested procedure I use when reviewing the platform:
- Confirm the pod is empty and cool. Vape until the LED indicates low e-liquid, then let the device sit for 5–10 minutes so the coil cools.
- Detach the pod from the battery base. The Switch Pro uses a magnetic + friction-fit connection. Pull straight up — don’t twist.
- Locate the fill port. On the underside of the pod (the end that connects to the battery), there’s a small silicone plug — usually adjacent to the airflow channel. Use a toothpick or the tip of a small flathead to lift the plug, not pull it fully out.
- Use the right e-liquid. Stick to 50 mg (5%) nicotine salt e-liquid with a 50/50 VG/PG ratio (or up to 60VG/40PG max). High-VG sub-ohm juice will clog the mesh coil and produce muted flavor.
- Fill slowly to the max line. Using a blunt-tip needle bottle, inject e-liquid along the inner wall of the pod — never directly down the center airflow tube. Stop at roughly 90% capacity (about 20 mL for a 22 mL pod) to leave room for air displacement.
- Reseal and prime. Press the silicone plug firmly back into the port, wipe any residue with a paper towel, and let the pod sit upright for 8–10 minutes so the cotton wick saturates. Skipping this step is the #1 cause of “burnt first hit” complaints.
- Reattach and test. Click the pod back onto the base. Take 2–3 short priming puffs without firing the battery (pull air through), then take a normal draw. Flavor should be clean and full.
4. How Foger Vapes Work
All current Foger devices use a draw-activated firing mechanism (no buttons) paired with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and a dual-mesh coil. The dual-mesh layout is what gives the lineup its signature dense vapor — two parallel mesh strips share the wicking load, which reduces hotspots and extends coil life compared to single-coil disposables.
Key Hardware Features
- Adjustable airflow on Bit 35K and Switch Pro lets you toggle between tight MTL and looser RDL draws via a bottom ring.
- OLED indicator shows real-time battery percentage and remaining e-liquid — useful for avoiding dry hits.
- USB-C fast charge brings the Switch Pro base from 0 to full in roughly 35–45 minutes at 5V/1A.
- Modular pods (Switch Pro only) contain both the coil and e-liquid, so swapping a pod replaces the wear part — the battery base lasts for dozens of pods.

Tips for Getting the Best Price
- Bulk packs: Buying 5 or 10 pods at once typically cuts per-unit cost by 15–20% on major online vape retailers.
- Subscription delivery: Several authorized US vendors (Element Vape, EightVape) offer auto-ship discounts of ~10%.
- Local shop premium: If you search “Foger vape near me,” expect a 15% markup over online pricing — that’s the cost of same-day pickup plus local sales tax.
Pro Tip: Verify Authenticity
Check the scratch-off authentication code on the box against Foger’s verification portal. Counterfeits are common at suspiciously low online prices and can carry inaccurate nicotine labeling. Stick to retailers listed on the official Foger site.
6. Maintenance and Charging
Use a 5V/1A USB-C cable. Avoid 18W+ PD bricks — Foger’s onboard charge controller is rated for slow charging, and higher wattage shortens battery cycle life.
If the device misfires, detach the pod and wipe the gold magnetic contacts on both the base and pod with a dry cotton swab. Moisture from condensation is the most common cause of “not firing” errors.
Store pods upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Heat thins e-liquid and accelerates leaking.
For specific failure modes — leaking, gurgling, weak hits — see our dedicated Foger troubleshooting guide.
7. US Regulatory Context (PMTA & State Bans)
The US disposable and pod-system vape market operates under the FDA’s Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) pathway. As of late 2024, the FDA has authorized only a small list of tobacco- and menthol-flavored products; most flavored disposables — including the broader category Foger competes in — remain in regulatory limbo, meaning they are technically marketed without authorization while applications are reviewed or pending enforcement. Buyers should be aware that availability can change quickly. The FDA Tobacco Products portal lists currently authorized products.
State-level rules add another layer:
- Flavored vape sale bans are in effect in states including California, Massachusetts, New York (in-store), New Jersey, and Rhode Island. Foger flavored SKUs cannot legally be sold at retail in those states.
- Disposable-specific restrictions: Louisiana, Utah, and a growing number of states limit sales to FDA-authorized devices only — a list that does not currently include Foger.
- Excise taxes on vapor products vary widely; expect 10–60% added at checkout depending on jurisdiction.
Foger is sold to adults 21+ only. Reporting from outlets like blank” style=”color: #6d4eec;”>Vaping360 and the blank” style=”color: #6d4eec;”>Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association (CASAA) tracks state-level enforcement changes in close to real time.
8. Frequently Asked Questions
No. The Bit 35K is a sealed disposable. Cracking it open to add e-liquid risks short-circuiting the battery and damaging the coil. When it runs dry, replace it.
Officially, Switch Pro pods are pre-filled replacements designed to be swapped, not refilled. Experienced users can manually top up a pod 1–2 times using 50 mg salt nic at a 50/50 VG/PG ratio (see section 3), but this voids retailer warranties.
All current Foger models — Switch Pro pods and Bit 35K — ship at 50 mg/mL (5%) nicotine salt. Foger does not currently sell lower-strength SKUs in the US.
Use 50 mg (5%) nicotine salt e-liquid with a 50/50 to 60/40 VG/PG ratio. Avoid high-VG (70%+) freebase juice — it’s too thick for the mesh coil and will cause dry hits and burnt cotton.
No. As of this writing, Foger products are not on the FDA’s list of marketing-authorized tobacco products. The FDA has authorized only a limited set of tobacco- and menthol-flavored devices; most flavored disposables, including Foger, are sold pending enforcement decisions. Check the FDA Tobacco Products portal for current status.
Most no-fire issues come from a depleted battery, a wet or dirty contact, or a poorly seated pod. Charge fully, wipe the gold contacts with a dry swab, and reseat the pod firmly. If that fails, see our troubleshooting guide.
Based on retailer best-seller listings at Element Vape and West Coast Vape Supply, Meta Moon, Pink and Blue, and White Gummy are the top three sellers across the Switch Pro and Bit 35K. Our flavor guide has full tasting notes.
A 22 mL pre-filled pod is rated for roughly 25,000 puffs. For a moderate user (around 300 puffs/day), that’s about 7–10 days. Heavy users will finish one in 4–5 days.
Single pods run $12.99–$17.99 at authorized US online retailers. Multi-packs reduce per-unit cost by 15–20%.

Finally found a flavor that actually tastes like blueberries
I’ve tried a dozen different brands but these Foger refills are the first ones that don’t taste like chemicals. The Blueberry Ice is super smooth and the clouds are actually consistent until the very end. Definitely sticking with these from now on.

Best value for the price and the battery lasts
Compared to the disposables I usually buy, these refills are a total game changer for my wallet. The battery life on my mod seems to last longer with these pods too. You get a solid puff count without any leaking issues.

Great flavor options but shipping took a while
The Watermelon Lush flavor is spot on and not too sugary. My only complaint is that delivery was a bit slow compared to other sites. Otherwise, the product itself is high quality and hits really well.

Solid performance and very easy to swap out
These are way better than the generic pods I used to get at the local shop. They don’t spit back at all and the draw is nice and tight. I’d give it five stars if they had more variety in stock.

Flavor is okay but fades pretty quickly
The initial flavor is great but it seems to drop off halfway through the pod. It’s still better than most gas station brands, but I wish the intensity lasted longer. It gets the job done for a daily vape.

Decent quality but had one leaking pod
I like the Mint flavor a lot, it has exactly the right amount of cooling effect. One out of the four pods in my pack leaked in the package, which was a bit annoying. The ones that weren’t broken worked perfectly fine though.
